Darren has been a professional photographer and photographic tutor for many years. Since relocating to the Isle of Harris in 2013 he has spent time building up a stunning collection of images from across the isles.

Darren has been creating a new range of iPad paintings over the last 6 months, all of which are on display now at the gallery. iPad paintings share many similarities with traditional paintings in that the artist is presented with a blank canvas, a selection of brushes and a colour palette. Many hours are spent building up layers of brush strokes and blending colours to produce the final piece.
